This week we have an exciting meeting planned for you. We will be meeting in Squires 300 at 8:30pm, and we will be teaching you how to construct your own ultra-light backpacking stove from just two aluminum cans! We will provide the cans and all the materials you need to make them. These stoves are a great alternative for beginners or for anyone who doesn’t want to carry the weight of a heavier stove. A few of our members have used these stoves on many trips and the reviews have been highly favorable. Even if you already have a backpacking stove that you love, or if you are a campfire cooker, making one of these stoves is still a fun experience and a good way to impress your friends.
