Emerging Leaders Summit
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is hosting the 2024 Emerging Leaders' Summit August 2 - 4, 2024. We would love to have Virginia Tech students represented. No registration fee and lodging and meals provided.
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is hosting the 2024 Emerging Leaders' Summit for those who cherish the future of the landscape and community surrounding the Appalachian Trail. Join the ELS cohort to engage in meaningful experiences, mentorship, and outdoor leadership.
Apply to be a part of a small, diverse cohort of leaders, ages 18-30, looking to expand skills and stewardship for the outdoors through connection, action, and expression. There are no registration fees, and lodging and meals are included for all participants. Travel stipends may be provided based on need. Participants will choose a camping experience or stay in a shared cabin with bunks. No experience is required, however a commitment to learning and interest in the Appalachian Trail is expected.
