Description
A hike up the dragons tooth trail to the summit to see the sunset and moonrise. We will meet up at the parking lot at around 4:45 pm and set off around 5:10. We will reach the summit in roughly 45-60 minutes; just in time for sunset. The moonrise will occur ~20min after sundown, so, bring something that will help keep you warm and light up the surrounding. Each person needs to have their own method of transportation, except if you come as a group. Do not forget masks either. As of making this trip, there is a chance of rain during the course of that day. If that forecast shifts to overlap with the hike then the sky viewing with be scrubbed but the hike should remain; it is only noted as a drizzle right now. Be prepared either way; with or without the drizzle. *As long as I can keep this up this semester, and those to come, I will try and keep this as a monthly hike. The times will change of course, but the purpose will remain the same. Might select different locations if they fit the goal.
