Description
A.T. Vista is part of a new expansion of the ATC that hopes to expose more people to the A.T. and the surrounding trails! The inaugural event consists of local hikes conducted along the Appalachian Trail and surrounding alternative trails in all 14 A.T. states. It is encouraged to take pictures or video footage to upload to the A.T. Vista social media pages! For Day 1 of the event, we will hike Rice Fields. Rice Fields is an iconic ridgeline mountain meadow at 3350 feet above sea level with a unique ecology that promotes bird and butterfly migration. Not to mention the great views from the top!
