Description
Hiking to Rice Fields doing standard trailered maintenance (lopping overgrowth, refresh blazes, clearing downed trees). 5 miles roundtrip. Tools and training will be provided.
Location
The trailhead for Rice Fields is in Giles county in Pocahontas Rd. We'll get meeting on campus (location would be shared with those who register)
What You Should Bring
Wear appropriate clothing, long pants and long sleeve shirt (regardless of the temperature). Layers of clothing will help maintain a comfortable body temperature. Wear boots or sturdy closed toed shoes. BRING WATER AND SNACKS.
