Description
Trail work on the Appalachian Trail along the Peter's Mountain ridgeline. We'll be hiking and beating back the overgrown vegetation with loppers, saws and trimmers. Southbound thru hikers are making their way through our area and we're trying to ensure they have a clear path.
Location
We'll meet at the parking area in front of the Basketball Practice Building (on the east side of Cassell Coliseum)
What You Should Bring
WEAR: sturdy footwear (boots), long pants, long sleeve shirt. BRING FOOD AND WATER: Pack a lunch and snacks and bring at least 2L of water. Tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided along with instruction and safety briefing.
