Description
There have been reports of downed trees on this stretch. We'll go in as a crew and clear the tree debris that is over the trail. We also anticipate a fair amount of lopping back vegetation that is growing into the trail. No previous experience required. Tools, training, and PPE provided.
Location
Hemlock Ridge is the stretch of the A.T. between the New River near the Celenese plant in Giles county and Clendenin Rd.
Driving Directions
We'll coordinate carpooling and meet up with those who register.
What You Should Bring
Wear boots, long pants and have a long sleeve shirt. Pack at least 2L of water, lunch, and snacks.
