Description
We will get an early start on Saturday and do about 20 miles before sunset followed by another 10-11 miles on Sunday. If the forecast for this weekend looks bad when we get closer to the date, we may push the trip back a week, but hopefully that will not happen! This will be a long and strenuous trip, but should hopefully be lots of fun as well, so if you're up for it and are prepared, by all means sign up! What You Should Bring
Bring lots of water (preferably a water filter too) and food for two lunches, a dinner, and a breakfast, plus snacks along the way. Also have an adequate backpack, sleeping equipment for a cold night in the wooded mountains, hiking boots, clothes for hiking and sleeping in, and whatever else you need to be comfortable (but that you can also carry for 30 miles). Optional: flashlight, portable stove, portable phone charger, extra contacts or pair of glasses if you need them, etc. You are expected to bring all necessities yourself, we will not be providing any of the above on the trip.
