If you want to take a break from school and enjoy a beautiful trailhead with gorgeous views and anticipated fall foliage, this trip is for you. It is a roughly 3.2-mile [328 ft elevation gain] trail near Shawsville, Virginia. To appreciate the experience further, there will be no rush and overall a chill hike.
