Description
We will use hand tools to clear blowdowns in a designated wilderness section of the AT. Additional volunteer work days will be added as progress conditions warrant.
Location
25 miles west of Blacksburg on the border between Virginia and West Virginia. The Peter's Mountain ridge line is the most western portion of the AT.
Driving Directions
Carpool location will be decided after registration.
What You Should Bring
Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and sturdy work boots. Consider changing weather conditions. Bring lunch and 2 litters of water.
