Description

The Triple Crown loop is a 35 mile hike with more than 8000 ft in total elevation gain. Most people take 2-3 days to complete it, but we're doing it all in one! Before you sign-up for this trip, you should make sure that you are both physically and mentally prepared for a hike this difficult. There are only 2 bail spots at 12 miles and 25 miles in. There are also water refill spots fairly often, except for the first 10 miles, where there are none. We may be doing training hikes as a group leading up to the actual trip date, but you should already be in good shape before these trainings. (Individual training over the next 3 weeks is also recommended)

What You Should Bring

Bring 2-3 liters of water, lots of food (we'll be burning lots of calories), and the best hiking boots and socks you can. Bring poles too or anything else you may want (but try to keep it pretty light).
