Description
A large bubble of thru hikers is passing through our area as they walk the ~2,200 miles from Georgia to Maine. We will travel on restricted Forest Service roads to access the ridge line of Peter's Mountain to clear encroaching vegetation. No experience is necessary as training, PPE and tools. A Blacksburg car pool location will be decided after registrations are completed.
What You Should Bring
Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt and sturdy footwear. Prepare for possible cooler mountain temperatures. Bring your favorite work gloves, lunch, and two liters of water.
