Description
Meet at Squires lot at 9 am and then get to Kelly Knob Trailhead by around 11 am. I will give an overview in the gravel lot before we start. We will hike 6 miles total with about 1200' of gain and it should take us around 3 hrs. We will return to VT at 4 pm. This hike is moderately difficult. Harder than Cascades but shorter than Dragon's Tooth and McAfee Knob with less elevation gain.

The parking lot for Great Channels can be found in map apps and is 2 hrs from Blacksburg.
What You Should Bring
Wear closed-toed sneakers that you feel comfortable walking in. Bring enough water (1L). I highly recommend trekking poles since they make walking easier. I recommend wearing breathable clothing. NO JEANS, NO OPEN TOED SHOES, NO SPEAKERS.
