Description
Carpool from Blacksburg to the Peters Mountain Pine Swamp trailhead on Rt. 635 in Giles County. We will hike with tools to perform minor trail maintenance and record issues that require further action. No experience is necessary. Tools, training and PPE are provided.
What You Should Bring
Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt/jacket and sturdy footwear. Prepare for possible cooler mountain temperatures and breezes. Bring your favorite work gloves, lunch, and two liters of water. Safety glasses, hard hats and work gloves are furnished. A convenient carpool location will be decided after signup.
