Description

Backpacking trip to Grayson Highlands, one of the most scenic areas in Virginia, with open balds and wild ponies. This will be an overnight trip with decent mileage each day. The trail will be fairly well defined and take us through a multitude of different environments. We will camp overnight in the backcountry and return the following day. Prior backpacking experience is strongly recommended. Group size is set to zero to ensure members are properly prepared for the trip.
